Singular spectra for quasiperiodic operators in positive Lyapunov exponent regime

摘要： In this talk, we will study the singular continuous spectrum for the quasi-periodic Schrodinger operator in the postive Lyapunov exponent regime. By Kotani's theory, there is no absolutely continuous spectrum in this regime. We obtain the sharp spectral transition for the eigenvalue and singular continuous spectrum for some explicit models. We can also obtain the fractal dimension for the spectral measure for the general quasi-periodic operators. This is a joint work with Jitomirskaya, Tcheremchantsev, and Shi.
